#19 Lions Move Forward to Tampa After Comfortable 18-10 Win Versus Frostburg

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The #19 Saint Leo women’s lacrosse team flies to win versus Frostburg State 18-10.

The Lions now move to 8-2 after comfortable win versus the Bobcats.

In the first quarter, it was Junior Fiona McLaughlin who got the Lions going with a goal three minutes into the game.

After doing a lot of offensive work in the first, the Lions went into the second quarter with a 5-1 lead.

Senior Ashlee Wilsynski kicked off the scoring in the second quarter less than a minute into the game as the Lions dominance continued.

At halftime, Saint Leo held a 11-5 lead.

In the third quarter, McLaughlin scored the first goal of the second half and kept the Lions momentum going as they went on to seal the game.

The final score saw the Green & Gold on top with a final score 18-10.

Up next, the Lions continue at home welcoming #4 Tampa University to University Turf Stadium on March 31st with the draw at 7:00pm.
