Congratulations to Jack on his college choice and good luck in the future! Jack wrote to us: “I would like to thank Sister Kirsten and Coach Labounty, the AD, for allowing Coaches Bartkowski and Butler to start the Lacrosse program at Pensacola Catholic High 4 years ago.  I appreciate being given the opportunity to play and start at Catholic my past 4 years.  It was incredibly challenging and I am sure frustrating for the coaches, coaching a young and inexperienced team.  We all grew very close over the past four years and it was very rewarding watching the team improve in leaps and bounds to capture the District 1 title this season. I would like to thank my Head Coach, Scott Bartkowski who had the job of being both Coach and my father.  Also, Coach Butler who was my warm-up coach who got me fired up before each game.  I would also like to thank Riley Cox who was my summer league coach with Emerald Coast Lightning.  He had a great way of coaching and kept the experience very enjoyable and rewarding. I would also like to thank my mother and father who both provided much time, travel and counsel in going to clinics and college visits/tryouts.  I happily look forward with great anticipation of playing at Belmont Abbey and I am grateful to Coach Barrett for providing me the opportunity to play there.”
