Why did you choose this college? |
| Berry College has everything I could ask for, education and lacrosse wise. The minute I met the coaches and stepped foot on the campus, I knew it was the best fit for me. It has an amazing lacrosse program, pre-veterinary major, small class sizes, and a beautiful campus. I couldn’t be more excited to play the sport I love at such a great school. |
What Advice Would You Give Those Starting the Recruiting Process? |
| It may be tricky at first, but always ask your coaches and older teammates for help. Doing summer recruiting tournaments and getting your name out there is really what helped me. |
Who Would You Like to Thank for Getting You to Here? |
| I want to thank my parents, teammates, and coaches. They’ve all seen me at my worst, pushed me, and encouraged me to be the player and person I am today. |
What are your first memories of the sport? |
| My first memories of the sport were having the older high school girls coach me in middle school. I remember moving over to the big field when I hit 8th grade. I always looked up to the older girls, and now I am one of the older girls. |
What is Your Favorite Memory From Your High School Career? |
| My favorite memory was probably stepping onto that State Semis field last season. Everything you’ve worked for, everything you’ve put in, all the time, all the conditoning, it all comes down to that one moment. It was a surreal feeling. |
What is Your Stick Brand? And Why? |
| I have the Epoch purpose 15-degree stick. I got this stick freshmen year and love it! The stringing allows you to have a deep pocket without it being illegal, and the 15-degree head allows for good ground ball percentage. |
Which Lacrosse Player Do You Most Want to Have a Meal With and Why? |
| I’ve always wanted to talk to Molly Dougherty. She’s one of the best defensive players there is and I would love to hear her full background and advice for me as a upcoming college athlete. |
Do You Watch College & Pro Games and What Are You Watching for to Make You a Better Player? |
| Yes, I’ve watched several college games! I like to watch their footwork on the field and see how I can improve as a teammate and player. |
What’s Your Go-To Meal After a Game? |
| My go to meal after a game is Moes Nachos. |
What’s the One Thing Your Teammates Would be Surprised to Know About You? |
| A lot of my teammates don’t know that I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma! |
