Corrigan Sports Enterprises: All-America Lacrosse Enters a New Era in 2023

Regional Teams Added for Rising Juniors and Welcomes New Balance as an Event Partner

via press release

Baltimore, Md. (September 14, 2022) — Today Corrigan Sports Enterprises announced initial plans for the
2023 edition of All-America lacrosse. Entering its 18th year, All-America lacrosse will expand its Underclass competition to include regional teams with rosters dedicated to boys and girls players in the rising junior class.

Corrigan Sports also welcomes New Balance as a priority partner for the All-America event. New Balance will supply Underclass players with custom uniforms and apparel packages for each region. New Balance will also take the lead in outfitting the athletes selected to participate in the Senior All-America games.

The All-America Underclass Tournament is the most prestigious high school tournament of the summer. For the first time in 2023 the event will feature three divisions in each region, for each gender — the Command Division, the Highlight Division and the newly minted Burn Division. The Command Division will showcase players from the 2027 and 2026 high school graduation years. The Burn Division will feature 2025 players while the Highlight Division will exclusively feature 2024 players.

“These are truly exciting times for the All-America event,” commented Lee Corrigan, President of Corrigan
Sports and the founder of All-America Lacrosse. “Our new partnership with New Balance is giving us the
opportunity to expand the Underclass tournament. With the support of New Balance we will be able to provide uniforms for an additional division along with custom apparel offerings for Underclass athletes. And we can’t wait to see the gear that New Balance has in store for the Senior All-Americans.”

Corrigan also noted, “The Burn division will shine a light on the rising juniors who are getting ready to begin their college recruiting process. In past years these athletes were challenged to make the Highlight roster. By adding a division, we do more than create increased exposure for 2025 grad year players. We have also raised the competitive intensity for the 12 regions with another championship now on the line. Our next step is to provide additional playing opportunities for the rising freshmen class. It’s the right time to freshen things up while building upon the event’s unmatched tradition.”

Command, Burn and Highlight teams will be selected to represent 12 different regions: Baltimore, CONNY, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, South, Southwest, Upstate New York, Washington DC and West. Registrations for the regional tryouts are open now with dates and venues to be released as available.

The All-America main event will return to Maryland in 2023. The Underclass tournament will open play on
Thursday, July 27 and conclude on Championship Sunday, July 30. The annual Senior All-America games are scheduled for Saturday, July 29 and once again serve as the premier showcase for high school lacrosse players.

The team at Inside Lacrosse will oversee the selection process for the Senior All-Americans. Visit
