York just had the best combination of degree offerings, location and lacrosse. I liked their business school programs and they emphasize a lot of hands on experience with local businesses. The school is in southeastern PA and near a lot of family and friends which is important for me. I loved that they are a really competitive program and play a great schedule of top DIII teams every year. Coach Childs is an awesome teacher and puts so much into building a great team culture. What are your first memories of the sport? Playing rec ball in Clearwater with Coach Tom Losier, I was 6 years old and I got to play up with my older brother for a game. What part of the process was most surprising to you about the recruiting process and what would you like to pass on to those who are going to face it in the future? I was surprised by how many schools there are and the number of really competitive programs. Everybody should remember that maintaining good grades opens doors and keeps so many schools on the list of options. You want to be able to pick from as many schools as possible so you can determine the best fit for you. Who would you like to thank for helping you get here? Thanks to all of my coaches and teammates, and especially my parents and family. I was fortunate to be coached by guys who knew the game, focused on fundamentals and were very supportive (Coach Knust, Coach Matzke, Coach Aiello, Coach Longo, Coach Ryder, Coach Mayer). My parents were always supportive and kept me focused on the right priorities. My older brothers made everything a game and I always enjoyed competing against them.
