Delray Lacrosse & Leadership Partners With Stealth Lacrosse For Halloween Night!

On 10/24/18, Ryan Burton and his Stealth Lacrosse program hosted Delray Lacrosse & Leadership for a Halloween Lax Night at the Terramar Fields in Parkland. The two programs scrimmaged, candy was exchanged & a fun night was had by all. The start of the school year saw the Delray Lacrosse & Leadership program expand from Pine Grove Elementary to also include Carver Middle School. The desired goal was to not only provide academic & athletic opportunities to more kids in the Delray area but also to help the kids in the program transition from elementary to middle school.     Donte Smith, head coach of the Delray Lacrosse & Leadership team at Carver said “the expansion of our program into Carver Middle means that we have collectively introduced the game of lacrosse to almost twenty-five new kids this fall. I feel that we are helping change kid’s lives”. Delray Lacrosse & Leadership is a non-profit, education-based development & mentoring program for at-risk youth in Delray Beach. Here is a link to their website: www.delraybeachlacrosseandleadership.org     Special thanks go out to Principal Sandra Edwards (Carver), Principal Shauntay King (Pine Grove), Stealth Coach Ryan Burton, Carver Coach Nick Sherman, Coach Jeff Goldberg, Ted Hoskinson, Jamael Stewart & Michael Coleman.
