For numerous reasons. I felt the school would challenge me academically and athletically. I was very impressed with the program Coach Giannerini is building and wanted to be part of the foundation for future success. I wanted to compete closer to home and wanted to be on a team I thought would compete for a National Title. What are your first memories of the sport? One of my first memories of the sport was going out for lacrosse after track ended my 7th grade year. After picking up a stick and playing with the team I knew this was going to be my favorite sport. What part of the process was most surprising to you about the recruiting process and what would you like to pass on to those who are going to face it in the future? The number of emails you have to consistently send to get the attention of the coaches. Create a system and make sure it is done regularly. Who would you like to thank for helping you get here? I would like to especially thank the coaches of the Storm Select Lacrosse Club. Coach Ann Bomleny for her unrelenting support, motivation and coaching (If not for her guidance, I would not have had as many opportunities to play in college).
