MCLA D1: Florida State Qualifies For the Tournament Via the At-Large Bid!

  via the MCLA web site   BRACKET & SCHEDULE LINK   ATLANTA – Ranked atop the weekly poll for the entire regular season, California has been installed as the top seed in the 2019 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour after the selection committee unveiled the bracket on Sunday night. The Bears (14-0), who are making their 10th appearance at nationals and have a championship to their name, will square off with No. 16 LSU (7-7). The Tigers are making their first visit to the tournament after winning the Lone Star Alliance automatic qualifier. No. 2 Chapman (15-2) leads a three-team SLC contingent consisting of No. 5 Arizona State (12-2) and No. 10 Concordia-Irvine (12-4).   https://twitter.com/fanvuu/status/1122860886551597059   No. 3 South Carolina (17-2) is the vanguard of a four-team SELC crew that includes No. 4 Georgia Tech (16-1), No. 6 Liberty (15-1) and No. 12 Florida State (8-6). The newly devised Continental Lacrosse Conference (CLC) had a strong opening showing, garnering three bids. No. 8 New Hampshire (11-0), No. 11 Michigan State (8-7) and Connecticut (7-5) all earned tickets to nationals. Similarly, the WCLL had the strength to grab three bids. Following Cal was No. 9 Cal Poly (8-4) and No. 14 Santa Clara (8-6). The 2019 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour commences on May 6 and will continue to May 11 when a champion will be crowned in Division I.
