No. 4 Men’s Lacrosse Caps Off Regular Season With 26-6 Victory Over Webber
Score: No. 4 Keiser 26, Webber Int’l 6 Records: No. 4 Keiser (6-2), Webber Int’l (3-6) Location: WIU Turf Field, Babson Park, Fla. The fourth-ranked Keiser Seahawks capped off the regular season with a convincing 26-6 road victory over Webber International on Saturday afternoon. The Seahawks ended the regular season with an overall record of 6-2. In the victory, Cam Provines became the program leader in ground balls (110), while Dylan Sharpe moved into a tie for second with Justin Stone (108). Provines set the season record for groundballs with 85. Sharpe tied the game record for points with 11 (eight goals/three assists). Keiser 8, Webber 3- Hunter East opened the scoring for the Seahawks with an unassisted goal at the 13:34 mark.
- Keiser ran off the next three goals as their advantage moved to 4-0 with 9:12 to go in the opening quarter.
- Ten seconds later, Webber International found the back of the net for the first time, trailing 4-1.
- Anthony Senior and Cole Stassi each scored, upping the margin to 6-1 with 8:05 to go.
