Erin Collier recorded her first career hat trick and Marina Rotella added a pair of goals to lead the Hatters (1-6, 0-3 ASUN).  Kiera McKarthy made 13 saves in net. Playing at home for the first time in seven weeks, Stetson jumped out to an early three-goal lead.  Rotella scored just 37 seconds into the game to put the Hatters in front, and Riley Reagan and Jessica Duggan each added markers in the first 3+ minutes of play.  Reagan’s goal was the 50th of her career. Collier then converted a free position attempt for the first of her three goals on the night to give the Hatters a 4-1 lead.  Stetson’s fifth goal of the half came at the 18:52 mark on a shot from Saige-Lyn Gidzinski, but the Flames finished the half on an 8-0 run to carry an 11-5 lead into the break. Collier scored her second goal just 87 seconds into the second half to make it a 12-6 game, but that would be as close as the Hatters would get.  The Flames (9-6, 2-0) extended the lead to 16-6 midway through the period.  Rotella, Collier, and Quinn Roe answered with three consecutive goals to cut the deficit to 16-9.  Liberty netted a pair in the waning moments to cap the scoring. Rotella’s two goals raised her career total to 87, putting her into a tie with Shelby Lehmann for second all-time in school history.  She trails Taylor Patrizi by just two goals for the school record. Reagan, meanwhile, became just the eighth player in school history to hit the 50-goal plateau. She also added her 95th career assist. Roe extended her goal scoring streak to six games. The Hatters will host Coastal Carolina at noon on Sunday in the regular season finale.  It will also be Senior Day as Stetson will honor eight student-athletes in pregame festivities.
