Stetson Hatters Set to Face Liberty, Coastal Carolina in Weekend Homestand

Preview The Stetson lacrosse team will play a home game for the first time since March 6 when the Hatters host the Liberty Flames at 4 p.m. Friday afternoon at the ATC.  Stetson will also host Coastal Carolina at noon on Sunday for Senior Day.  The Hatters will honor their seniors and graduates Sarah FlattQuinn Roe Riley ReaganAnne Ryan LanzMarina RotellaTaylor ZubererErin Collier and Jaclynn Levy prior to the game vs. the Chanticleers.  Both games can be seen for free on HatterVision (GoHatters.com/watch). All-Time Series Stetson is 0-2 all-time vs. Liberty.  The teams last met in 2019 in Lynchburg where the Flames won 21-6 … The Hatters are 0-5 all-time vs. the Chanticleers.  The two teams last met in 2019 in DeLand where Coastal Carolina won 18-11. Offensive Leaders Marina Rotella leads the Hatters this season with 17 goals and 20 points.  Her six goals against Wofford tied a career-high and moved her into third place all-time in school history with 85 goals scored.  She trails Taylor Patrizi (89 goals) by four goals for the school record … Quinn Roe, meanwhile, ranks second on the team with seven goals.  She has scored goals in five straight games … Riley Reagan holds the school record for career assists (94) and points-per-game (3.18). Defensive Leaders Defender Christina Nikolai has started all six games this season. She leads the team with 13 ground balls and seven caused turnovers.  Goalkeepers Sydney Heimann and Kiera McCarthy have combined to make 59 saves this season. ASUN and NCAA Leaderboard Marina Rotella ranks second in the ASUN and ninth in the NCAA with a .630 shot percentage (17-for-27). She also ranks sixth in the ASUN in goals (17) and 10th in points (20) … Kiera McCarthy ranks second in the ASUN in save pct. (.437). News and Notes Stetson leads the NCAA in free position pct. (.607, 17-for-28) … Stetson leads the ASUN and ranks fourth in the NCAA in shooting pct. (.524) … Taylor Zuberer has four goals on four shots this season (1.000) … Camden Frissora has scored the Hatters’ first goal of the game in three straight games.
