via Stetson press release – photo by Steve Simoneau   Stetson lacrosse head coach Christy Leach today announced the Hatters’ fall schedule. The schedule begins with an Alumni Game on Sept. 21, and is followed by games against a variety of opponents. “We are excited to play many different opponents this fall over four weekends,” Leach said. “We will be able to see a lot of development from our players over these time periods, and gain a wealth of experience for our newcomers. It will be great to see what we are capable of against many different opponents. It will be a great preview for our spring season.” Following the Alumni Game, the Hatters will play a pair of games in Lakeland on Sept. 29, against both Florida Southern and Rollins. The first weekend in October finds the Hatters in Jacksonville where they will face off against ASUN Conference foe Jacksonville and Division II opponents Embry-Riddle and Tampa. The next day, the Hatters will head to Gainesville to play the Gators and ASUN rival Kennesaw State. Stetson closes out the fall schedule the weekend of Oct. 20-21 when the Hatters visit Conway, S.C., for contests against Coastal Carolina and other yet-to-be-determined opponents.
