UF Women: Five Florida Freshmen Earn Spot on ILWomen Power 100 Rankings

  via UF press release   GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Five Florida lacrosse freshmen were named to the ILWomen Power 100 Incoming Freshman list, as the organization announced on Tuesday. Midfielder Shelton Sawers (St. Paul’s School for Girls) was ranked 17th out of all incoming freshmen, the highest ranking for Florida and for the American Athletic Conference. Defender Becky Browndorf, who played at Upper Dublin in Pa. was ranked 33rd, while midfielder Emily Heller (West Babylon) earned the 45th spot on the list. Two other freshmen Gators earned a spot on the Power 100 Watchlist: midfielder Whitney Albert (St. Mary’s) and Georgia Ceanfaglione (John Carroll). As a squad, the Gators rank as the seventh-best freshmen class in the nation. Top Incoming Classes
