Not much to move on at the top of the polls but definitely a lot of movement at the bottom as Boca Raton and Lake Mary make their debuts based on significant weeks. Most of the teams are off this week for their Spring Breaks, with one MAJOR exception.

Three games in three days . . . at American Heritage-Delray, at Pine Crest and at St. Thomas . . . are you kidding me? #1 Bartram Trail comes South! Pretty darn good preparation for mid-April and May, I would say. Easy wins over St. Augustine and Lambert (Ga.) during the week. #1 until they are proven otherwise.

#’s 2 and 3, Vero Beach and Steinbrenner, have earned their stripes already this year. Steinbrenner with their biggest win in program history as a perfect rebound to their one-goal loss to Vero. Vero with an easy win over Alpharetta (Ga.) and they take on Valor Christian (Co.) and face off with LHP this week. Steinbrenner has earned a well-deserved week off.

St. Thomas was off this week and double up with the BT home game, followed by a road trip to LHP. With time off to regroup after the Pine Crest home loss. Ponte Vedra with a solid win over Gulf Breeze but dropped a game to a strong Lambert (Ga.) team.

Newsome is next after a 2-0 week and are off this week. Hagerty moves down after an 0-2 week as their Vero Beach upset is fading in the rear-view mirror. They also are off and it comes at a good time.

Plant moves up a slot after a win over Berkeley Prep and have a bye week.

Boca Raton jumps up to #8 with a 10-1 record after going 3-0 on the road, defeating SJP, Palm Beach Central and Wellington. They are also on a bye week and need not to take their eye off the ball looking towards 3/30 and AH-Delray.

Lake Mary jumps in with the win over Hagerty to the #9 slot and we’ll see if they overcome the loss to Alpharetta (Ga.) yesterday. Another Bye week for the Rams.

At #10, we’ll keep Hagerty and combine them with undefeated Wiregrass Ranch and undefeated Oviedo to see who blinks first. All 3 are off this week as well.
