Wurzburger Takes The Reins As North Carolina Looks To Rebuild After Perfect 2022

This season presents a new number and a new role for North Carolina’s Caitlyn Wurzburger.

The graduation of Scottie Rose Growney allowed Wurzburger to make the switch from the No. 13 jersey she donned during her first two seasons playing at Chapel Hill to her favored No. 15, a meaningful switch to wear the same her father sported while playing at both Maryland and in high school at West Genesee (N.Y.).
