2023 ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll – March 27

Women’s DI lacrosse was as steady as can be this past week.

The Top 10 teams are the same in the ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll. Syracuse is the clear No. 1 and gained every first-place vote. Northwestern, North Carolina, Denver and James Madison, respectively, keep their pace in the Top 5.

The Orange (11-0) beat Stony Brook and Louisville within the past week, while Northwestern earned wins against Johns Hopkins and Stanford.

The first change is Virginia and Notre Dame flip-flopping at 11 and 12 after the Cavaliers beat the Fighting Irish on Saturday. Then, there are minor shifts with Penn State rising two spots to 18, and Penn and Navy each bumping up one.

The ILWomen/IWLCA Poll will be unveiled Mondays throughout the season. It is voted on jointly by coaches throughout the country and members of the media.
