Jordan Faison Set for Two-Sport Career at Notre Dame

Although his path to Notre Dame looks much different than the former walk-on slot receivers who earned substantial roles in South Bend, Jordan Faison is thrilled to be Irish and he’s hungry to compete with the receivers.

Out of Gulliver Pine Crest Prep in Fort Lauderdale, the two-sport standout signed his letter of intent last month and will head to Indiana in 2023.

“My dad got me started on football when I was first born, pretty much,” Faison said. “After a couple of years of playing football, I got introduced to the sport of lacrosse. And after a couple of practices and games, it became a sport I loved.

“As time went on, football and lacrosse are two separate seasons and I was able to play both growing up my entire life, pretty much. And I just fell in love with both sports. As time came near to college, it was like, ‘Oh, do I got to make a decision on which sport I want to play? Do I have to lock in on one sport?’”
