Why did you choose this college?
I choose Lindenwood because it is an awesome school that supports there athletic programs especially the lacrosse team. The facilities and recourses were amazing, and it will be a huge help being a student athlete. Lindenwood is located 15 mins from a St.Louis which is great for opportunity for internships or jobs. The town of St.Charles has a warm and cozy feel to it, but also has unlimited things to do. Community is a big part of St.Charles and Lindenwood, everyone I talked to was very friendly and open to conversation.

What Advice Would You Give Those Starting the Recruiting Process?
The recruiting process is very complicated to say the least. The biggest thing is exposure, getting yourself out on the field and in front of coaches is the best thing for you. Not saying emails, highlight reels, and other things aren’t important; but the coaches want to see how you are when you are in the heat of the moment. Also, don’t compare yourself to other recruits. You may have no coaches reaching out to you, but your teammate or some kid you see on instagram could have offers from all over; don’t let that bring you down, you should always maintain confidence because your time will come.

Who Would You Like to Thank for Getting You to Here?
I would first like to say a huge thank my parents for everything, taking me to play at all the tournaments, making meals, etc. Also a very special thank you to have many coaches like Coach Kevin Martin (Sweetlax), Coaches Sofarelli Nick O’Hara (Jupiter High School), and Coach Justin Moe (Keiser University) who have reached out to college coaches on my behalf during this very complicated process. I am also very thankful of my friends and teammates who always pushed me to be the best person and lacrosse player I can be. Last but not least, I would love to thank any coach I have had wether it was basketball, football, or lacrosse at any level, because without them I wouldn’t be in the position I am in today.

What are your first memories of the sport?
I played many sports growing up and I had no clue what lacrosse was until my dad asked me if I wanted to try it. So, when I found out that I could run around and hit people with sticks I said of course. I started off as a defender my first season, but the first game of my second season I had 3 coast to coast goals. At that point, even the coach from the other team was asking why I wasn’t playing middie. So my coach pulled me off to the side and told me that from now on I would be a middie. So for the next 5 years I would be a middie, until I reached high school.

What is Your Favorite Memory From Your High School Career?
Being at Jupiter High School, there are many memorable moments. Winning a state championship in 2021 was definitely one of my favorite memories though. Having the opportunity to play in a high intensity game in front of a full crowd as a sophomore was an unforgettable feeling. As the clock ticked down, an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment rushed over me; hearing the crowd, hugging my teammates, and high fiving my coaches as the siren went off, is something I will never forget.

What is Your Stick Brand? And Why?
I have a Stringking long stick and an ECD Rebel D head. I use these products not only because they fit my play style, but they DON’T break. Lacrosse gear is not cheap, but when you break two sticks before season and your head warps within months, it starts to add up. I have had my current shaft/stick for a fall, school, and summer season without any problems, so I will never buy anything else.

Which Lacrosse Player Do You Most Want to Have a Meal With and Why?
If I could have a meal with any lacrosse player, it would have to be Jared Bernhardt. Jared Bernhardt is not only an amazing lacrosse player but he was able to take his skills and athletic ability, and transfer it to another sport. He played division II football and won a national title as a quarterback. He then wanted to continue his career in the NFL, so he adapted to be a wide receiver and now is on the Atlanta Falcons. He is a perfect example of someone who does anything to achieve his goals.

Do You Watch College & Pro Games and What Are You Watching for to Make You a Better Player?
I watch more college games than I do pro games, but I do record as many games as I can. While watching the game, I watch what is happening on the backside of the ball. I watch how the defenders position themselves to be able to make the best slides and deflect passes.

What’s Your Go-To Meal After a Game?
Nothing tastes better than drinking a cold ginger ale and eating a big plate of spaghetti after a game. After a hard game, leaving everything out there, your body needs to replenish its carbs. After eating a big plate of spaghetti, you feel replenished and full. The ginger ale also adds a spiciness aspect to the meal, you wake up from feeling so exhausted from the game.

What’s the One Thing Your Teammates Would be Surprised to Know About You?
My teammates would be surprised to find out that I actually love math and I’m very good at it too. I will be taking three college level calculus classes throughout this school year and I think that my teammates would be surprised to know about that.
