No. 3 Keiser Women’s Lacrosse dominated the Bears from start to finish on Saturday in Cleveland, Georgia at the TMU Lacrosse Complex for a 23-2 win.

First Quarter
Keiser 6, TMU 0

  • Rachel McLaughlin put the Seahawks on the board with 11:43 showing.
  • Madison Andrews followed at the 9:40 mark to give KU the 2-0 lead.
  • Keiser took the 3-0 lead when Melanie Brown found the back of the net for the first time with 7:30 remaining.
  • Valeria Lomaglio continued the run with 6:38 showing to give the Seahawks a 4-0 advantage.
  • KU took advantage of a yellow card by the Bears with Mia Dyson scoring her first at the 5:05 mark.
  • McLaughlin would wrap up the first quarter with her second goal at the 3:30 mark to give Keiser the 6-0 lead going into the second.

Second Quarter
Keiser 12, TMU 0

  • Andrews continued the momentum into the second quarter with 11:52 showing to spark a 6-0 run for Keiser.
  • Andrews(2), Brown, and Lomaglio(2) would all net goals in the run to extend the Seahawks lead to 12-0 going into the half.
Third Quarter

Keiser 18, TMU 0

  • Andrews scored her fifth of the afternoon to open the third quarter for Keiser.
  • Back-to-back goals by Lomaglio followed by back-to-back goals by Brown extended the Seahawks lead to 17-0 with 5:19 on the clock.
  • With 1:13 left in the third, Ashtyn Stoor notched a goal for KU to push the lead to 18-0 going into the fourth.
Fourth Quarter

Keiser 23, TMU 2

  • Bridget Reddington picked up her first goal of the game at the 13:53 mark of the fourth quarter.
  • Jasmine Sidawi netted her first of the season with 11:56 left in the contest to put Keiser ahead 20-0.
  • Hayley Frew, Brown, and Sydney Passaro all put goals on the board to stretch the lead to 23-0 with 6:04 on the clock.
  • The Bears would get on the board with 4:14 left before scoring again with 3:14 on the clock.
  • Keiser would hold on to the 23-2 lead for the rest of the game to take the win.

KU Highlights

  • 1/3: In net, Cassidy Green was credited with the win, however, Layla Benaissa recorded the most saves with three.
  • 2: McLaughlin, Amanda Antles, and Hannah Reeder all tallied two caused turnovers.
