Keiser men’s lacrosse remained undefeated today with a victory against St. Andrews. The Seahawks were able to quickly take control of the game, and led wire to wire. Freshman Jack Gillen scored four goals, and two assists. 

First Quarter
Keiser 3, St. Andrews 1

  • After nearly ten minutes without a score, Keiser got on the board first with a goal from Jack Gillen, courtesy of a Ryan Rundle assist.
  • St. Andrews tied the game 50 seconds later with a goal of their own. 
  • After the two squads locked up defensively, Keiser went out in front with a Jack Gillen goal, with another Rundle assist. 
  • Gillen recorded another goal with just :18 left in the quarter, this time with an assist from AJ Badik

Second Quarter
Keiser 6, St. Andrews 1

  • Five minutes into the quarter, Vincent Cerasuolo scored unassisted. 
  • Two and-a-half minutes later, AJ Badik scored unassisted.
  • The remainder of the half saw each team battle up and down the field, with several missed shots and turnovers for both teams.
  • With 2:37 left in the half, Jack Gillen scored his fourth goal of the day thanks to an assist from Cole Stassi
Third Quarter

Keiser 11, St. Andrews 1

  • KU got right back to scoring in the third quarter, with a Trevor Ellick goal two minutes into game action. (Assist by Jack Gillen)
  • Braeden Niemy scored a man-up goal with 8:00 left in the quarter. 
  • Zach Crotwell scored his first goal of the season just a minute later with an assist come from Cole Stassi
  • With 3:23 on the board, AJ Badik scored another unassisted goal. 
  • One minute later, James MacGilvray scored his first goal of the year with a Ryan Rundle assist.
Fourth Quarter

Keiser 14, St. Andrews 2

  • James MacGilvray scored unassisted with 11:50 left in the game. 
  • The Knights responded two minutes with their second goal of the day.
  • With 5:43 on the gameclock, Zach Crotwell scored his second goal, thanks to an assist from James MacGilvray
  • Vincent Cerasuolo scored the final goal of the game with :56 left on the clock.

  • Keiser surpassed 12+ goals for the fourth consecutive time this year.
