The No. 2 Keiser Seahawks fell to the No. 3 Cumberlands Patriots in a neutral site contest on Saturday in Laurinburg, North Carolina, 10-4.

First Quarter
Keiser 0, Cumberlands 4

  • The Patriots were first on the board at the 11:28 mark.
  • Back-to-back goals by UC’s Thomas Fogarty put Cumberlands up 3-0 with 5:28 on the clock.
  • Cumberlands would tally their fourth in the quarter with 3:44 to give UC a 4-0 lead going into the second.

  • Max Hiestand would put the Seahawks on the board 6:13 on the clock to cut the Patriots lead to 8-1 going into the half.
Third Quarter

  • Vincent Cerasuolo found the back of the net with just 1:14 coming off the clock in the third quarter to put the score at 8-2 UC.
  • The highest shooting quarter of the day saw just two goals with the Patriots netting their ninth of the game with 41 seconds left to take the 9-2 lead going into the fourth.
Fourth Quarter

Keiser 4, Cumberlands 10

  • Josten Ucros got on the board first at the 6:38 mark to try and spark a late run.
  • With 1:50 left in the game, Ucros would find his second of the afternoon to cut the UC lead to 9-4.
  • Following a Seahawks penalty, the Patriots would take advantage and score their tenth goal with 1:25 remaining to secure the 10-4 win.
