Keiser University Lacrosse Coach is Recognized as ‘One of 50 Influential Women in South Florida Sports’

This happened over the summer, but we did not know about it, so here’s the link to the Keiser web site. For whatever reason, it was not posted on their Women’s Lacrosse site newsfeed.

Keiser University Lacrosse Coach Lauren Bennett was recently recognized as a valuable leader in South Florida sports in a Miami Herald article by David Wilson titled ‘A look at 50 years of Title IX through 50 influential women in South Florida sports.’

The June 2022 article includes Bennett’s feat of leading the Keiser University Seahawk Lacrosse Team to its first-ever NAIA National Championship in 2021 and also notes Keiser University’s position as a ‘trailblazer’ in sports and new programs with lacrosse being ‘one of the fastest-growing sports in South Florida.’
