Why did you choose this college?
Furman was my perfect fit with my instant connection to Coach K and future teammates. FU offers high academics with an amazing location, and a team culture I can’t wait to be apart of.

What Advice Would You Give Those Starting the Recruiting Process?
I would definitely remind younger players that everyone’s recruiting process looks different. Due to my ACL injury in 2021, I missed my major recruiting summer so I always felt like I was playing “catch up” in a way. I feared that I had missed my chance, but I never gave up hope. You really have to buy into the process and follow it no matter the ups & downs. It’s true that everything happens for a reason, and what’s meant to be will certainly happen.

Who Would You Like to Thank for Getting You to Here?
I would first like to thank my parents for being my biggest cheerleaders and motivation. They have truly been there for me through every low and high. I would also like to thank my trainers at New Dimensions Wellness for rehabbing my knee to me stronger than ever and to Spectrum Sports for providing the best workouts. I would also like to thank my LHP teammates for never allowing me to lose hope in my recruiting timeline or confidence in my ability.

What are your first memories of the sport?
Growing up with two older siblings, I was always the little rug-rat younger sibling of EVERY tournament. I’m confident to say that my siblings, Carley and Kyle, definitely grew my love for the sport. Kyle would often throw me in goal and rip shots on me at the age of 7 until one would actually hit me, then it wouldn’t be so funny. Even then, I never lost my love of the game and instead grew tougher and more eager to play.

What is Your Favorite Memory From Your High School Career?
My favorite memory from LHP is definitely winning the 2022 State Championship. Not only is it always amazing to end a game with a gold medal around your neck, but personally this past season meant so much more. During my sophomore season (‘21) I remained injured on the sidelines and couldn’t do anything by cheer on my team, but this season I had the opportunity to be an impact player. The ups and downs of my recovery all made sense when I stood there on the field with my favorite people in Naples after taking down American Heritage-Delray.

What is Your Stick Brand? And Why?
I play with Epoch Purpose head and shaft. I love the 15* head and how it allows for a higher pocket. I’ve always played with traditional leather and I feel it’s a perfect combination.

Which Lacrosse Player Do You Most Want to Have a Meal With and Why?
125% Olivia Adamson: She’s already one of my favorite people and I just love her energy. Her lacrosse knowledge is endless and I love how humble she is about her talent. Liv has always been a huge inspiration to me, and I’m so proud to have her in my corner. The Adamson’s are amazing people and truly I would want to have an endless amount of dinners with the whole family, they are good company.

Do You Watch College & Pro Games and What Are You Watching for to Make You a Better Player?
I definitely watch college games because a lot of my best friends are playing at a higher level. Now that I can watch them live on ESPN, it became a weekly tradition to watch some of my favorite teams play especially Syracuse where I could watch Olivia Adamson tear it up as a freshmen. Seeing girls that I once played with in high school who are now playing at top D1 programs is so inspiring and motivational.

What’s Your Go-To Meal After a Game?
My Go-To Meal after a game is definitely a vanilla protein shake. It’s super plain, but I normally try to make it like ice cream so I can eat it with spoon. Sounds weird, but it’s really rewarding and helps me recover.

What’s the One Thing Your Teammates Would be Surprised to Know About You?
One thing my teammates would be surprised to know about me is that I play golf on the side. It’s always been a hobby of mine, but my main sport will forever be Lacrosse.
