Why did you choose this college?
I chose this Belmont Abbey because when I stepped foot on campus I knew it was the place for me. Everyone at Belmont Abbey is so focused on academics and athletics and I’m so excited to be apart of that. The coaching staff is amazing and I see a great future for Belmont Abbey.

What Advice Would You Give Those Starting the Recruiting Process?
When you first start recruiting try to send as many emails as you can even if its not colleges you are not necessarily interested in at the time. Next is to go to as many prospect camps as you can. Try to stand out and make your self shine!

Who Would You Like to Thank for Getting You to Here?
I would first like to say thank you to my mom and brothers for being so supportive during the entire recruiting process. Coach Gooey and Coach Tilo my club coaches helped me so much and never gave up. They were by my side the whole time and helped me improve to be the best goalie I could be. Lastly, is Coach Linsey. Coach Linsey is my high school coach and before high school was my club coach. Coach Linsey has helped me improve to the best athlete I could have dreamed to be. She puts so much into the team and is such an amazing coach. She has taught me how to be a leader on and off the field and to always believe in your team. Thank you so much Coach Linsey, Coach Gooey, and Coach Tilo for everything.

What are your first memories of the sport?
My first memory is going to a lacrosse clinic my mom found online. I was in 6th grade and all the girls at the clinic knew how to catch, cradle, and shoot. I was an complete awe and told my mom I had no chance at being able to do that. I got a stick and started going ground balls. I went against girls who have played before and ended up beating most of them. I started playing as a mid fielder and my team didn’t have a goalie. My friend told me I would be a great goalie so I told the coach I would be a goalie and thats where it all started!

What is Your Favorite Memory From Your High School Career?
My favorite memory from my high school career game wise is playing Wiregrass High School for the first time. The thrill of that game and the adrenaline in the game was so high and the game ended up going into OT. Even though my team lost it was one of my favorite high school games and a rivalry I will never forget. My favorite pre-game memory is playing pickle-ball in the locker room with my teammate Eva Risinger. We play for about 20 minutes and blast music and its a great way to decompress before a game.

What is Your Stick Brand? And Why?
I use a STX attack shaft and a STX eclipse 2 head. I love to use a attack shaft it helps me with my clears and stick handles. The STX eclipse 2 is a great goalie head and would definitely recommend it to any goalie. I get my stick strung at Lacrosse Unlimited.

Which Lacrosse Player Do You Most Want to Have a Meal With and Why?
I would love to have a meal with Charlotte North. Charlotte North is a player who has changed the game of lacrosse and an inspiration to many. She’s such a humble player who has accomplished so much. Another player I would love to have a meal with is Taylor Moreno. She’s an amazing goalie and would love to see what her mind goes through during a game like UNC vs BC.

Do You Watch College & Pro Games and What Are You Watching for to Make You a Better Player?
Yes, I watch as much lacrosse as possible. I love to watch both Women’s and Men’s lacrosse. Watching mens lacrosse helped me with watching far out shots and how goalies react to that and also watching their positioning. I love watching Paul Rabil and Charlotte North as well. Those two players I watch like crazy. I love to see what angles they take their shots at and new ways I can expect shots from. Goalies I love to watch is Liz Hogan, Rachel Hall, and Taylor Moreno. These three goalies are so different but so unique and have helped me improve my game tremendously.

What’s Your Go-To Meal After a Game?
My go to meal after a game is the Wendys four for four with the Jr. chicken sandwich, nuggets, orange HI-C, and fries or a good chicken sandwich from Chick Fil-A.
