Why did you choose this college? |
| I was looking for a college with a smaller student population so I could have a more direct relationship with my professors. I also wanted to commit somewhere that I would enjoy, even if I was not playing lacrosse, and I felt Trinity gave me that opportunity. |
 What Advice Would You Give Those Starting the Recruiting Process? |
| Grades, grades, grades. Even if you are the best player in the nation, no one will recruit you if you can’t get into their school. Ensure you are doing what you need to do off the field and on it. Coaches are recruiting not just for the player, but also for the type of person that player is. Lastly, don’t rush the process. Visit all the schools, don’t be afraid to ask questions, and listen to the responses. Go to a school where you are wanted. |
Who Would You Like to Thank for Getting You to Here? |
| I would like to thank my family for the immense time and financial commitment they have been willing to provide me. I would not have had the opportunities to play at the level I have if not for them. I would also like to thank my club coaches, Dan Leff and Jono Zissi, for helping me through the process and always being by my side. |
What are your first memories of the sport? |
| My first memory is deciding whether I wanted to play club soccer or start lacrosse. I ended up going with lacrosse, and I haven’t looked back since. I feel like I truly understand why they call it the “medicine game”. |
What is Your Stick Brand? And Why? |
| I use a Warrior Nemesis 3, Mesh Dynasty mesh and a 135-gram Stringking Composite. I want my stick to be as light as possible, while still being durable. I string all my sticks myself, which allows me to get exactly what I want. Most of my sticks get restrung multiple times before I land on the exact pattern that fits my style of play and mechanics. |
Do You Watch College & Pro Games and What Are You Watching for to Make You a Better Player? |
| I watch a lot of highlights, including full-game highlights and goalie highlights. For full game highlights, I watch how defenses are rotating at the highest level, and how I can implement that on my teams. With goalie highlights, I watch how they are positioning themselves in goal, how they gain any advantages on inside shots, and what their progressions look like on the clear. |
What’s Your Go-To Meal After a Game? |
| My go-to meal is usually a Chipotle burrito bowl – brown rice, black beans, double chicken, corn, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, and spicy salsa. |
