Stetson Women’s Lacrosse Announces 2022 Schedule

DeLand, Fla. — The Stetson University women’s lacrosse team and head coach Christy Leach are excited to announce the release of their spring 2022 schedule. 

Stetson returns to a full slate of games in the spring as the Hatters schedule features 15 contests with 11 games at the ATC and four on the road highlighted by a midweek trip to Gainesville to face University of Florida. 

The Hatters open their season with a three-game homestand, beginning on Saturday, Feb. 12 as Stetson hosts Campbell at noon to kick off the 2022 season. Following their bout with the Camels, the Hatters host both Niagara (Feb. 17) and Winthrop (Feb. 27). 

Stetson opens the month of March on the road as the Hatters visit Presbyterian (March 2) before returning to DeLand for four in a row at the ATC beginning with East Carolina (March 7) then LIU (March 13), Monmouth (March 16), and rounding out the four game homestand with Gardner-Webb (March 19). 

The Hatters close out March and their non-conference schedule with two games on the road, visiting Florida (March 23) and Mercer (March 27) before returning home to begin ASUN Conference action. 

Stetson opens ASUN play at home as the Hatters host Kennesaw State (April 2) before heading to Lynchburg, Va. to face Liberty (April 9) for their last road game. The Hatters wrap up the 2022 regular season with three straight home contests hosting Jacksonville (April 16), Delaware State (April 19) and Coastal Carolina (April 30). 

Jacksonville will host the 2022 ASUN Conference Championship tournament which begins with the semifinal round on Thursday, May 5 with the championship on Saturday, May 7 at 1 p.m.
