Warner Women’s Lacrosse Drops a Thriller Against William Penn (IA) At Home

LAKE WALES, FL- Warner Woman’s Lacrosse faced William Penn(IA) at home in Lake Wales, FL for non-conference game.

The Royals hosted the William Penn Wildcats in Lake Wales, FL in a non conference game. The game quickly showed to be no short of offense as both teams jumped out the gate off and running. Hannah Glaser was impressive as she scored three of the Royals’ five runs in the first quarter which lead them to leading the game. Starting off the second quarter, Rori Snyder scored the two next Royals’ goals putting the Royals up by four.

However, the Wildcats battled back in the second quarter as they tied the game eight to eight leading into the halftime. Snyder scored the next two Royals goals but the Wildcats kept applying pressure as they took the lead in the third quarter and never gave it back. The Royals played hard with a great team performance but the Wildcats made it difficult to comeback with a late run which lead to the Royals falling short sixteen to fourteen.
