Warner Women’s Lacrosse Suffers Loss Against Crooked Lake Rival WIU

BABSON PARK, Fla-  Warner Women’s Lacrosse traveled across the lake to face Webber International University in a non conference matchup. 

Warner Women’s Lacrosse traveled to Babson Park, FL to face their cross town rivals in a non-conference matchup. The Warriors got off to a hot start against the Royals as they scored four goals within the first 4 minutes of the match. Hannah Glaser had a good game as she scored the only three goals for the Royals with her first one coming in the 12th minute of the game. The Royals struggled to defend the Warriors offensive attacks as Webber’s Bryce Gerber was able to score eight times throughout the game making it difficult for the Royals to mount a comeback in the second half of this match. The Royals were not able to go on a run and would eventually fall to the Warriors as they fell to 0-2 on the year.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

  • Hannah Glaser registered three goals, on five shots, and a ground ball for the Royals. 
  • Rori Snyder had a good game defensively as she registered three ground balls, and a caused turnover.
