Webber: Chase Jackson selected to NAIA Men’s Lacrosse All-American Second Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 20, 2022) – The NAIA has announced the 2022 Men’s Lacrosse All-Americans and Chase Jackson of the Webber International University men’s lacrosse team has been selected.
 
All of the selections are made by the All-American Committee and are comprised of first and second teams. There are 13 members on each of the All-American teams.
 
Sophomore-attacker Chase Jackson was selected to the All-American Second Team. Jackson led the NAIA in assists with 50 and was tied for second in the nation in points with 81. In the Appalachian Athletic Conference, he was named the 2022 Offensive Player of the Year as well as being a First-Team All-Conference selection. Jackson was a key part of the Warriors’ offense which was the ninth highest scoring team in the NAIA.
 
“We are excited for Chase to be recognized as an All-American,” said Head Coach Chris Burdick. “This is a great accomplishment and Chase will be the first to tell you that his teammates were a big part of him receiving this recognition. Chase is not only our leading scorer, but is also a captain and leader of our team and we are very proud of him.”
 
The Warriors end the year ranked ninth in the country overall.
