Lauren Mazzamaro has verbally committed to High Point University in High Point, NC. where she will pursue a degree in Physical Therapy. Lauren is the first Division 1 commit from the Spanish River High School women’s lacrosse program and is thankful that Coach Boswell at High Point University is giving her this opportunity. Lauren says “ I fell in love with High Point when I visited. The coaching staff, players, facilities and campus are all amazing. I can’t wait to get there. I have always wanted to play Division I lacrosse and High Point is the perfect school.” Lauren wants to thank all her coaches starting with Rob Wurzburger, Rich Mullen and John McClain of Florida Select. Jarlyn Mathews at Spanish River High and Scott Braden of Boca Jets. Most importantly she wants to thank her parents for helping and supporting her through the many years of practice and games.
