All Saints Academy rallies in second half

Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
A spirited Windermere Prep Team totally out played the visiting Saints in the first half and went into halftime leading a defense oriented game 3-2. The Windermere Prep Lakers offense was able to control the ball and the Laker defense denied the Saints any good looks at the cage. The Saints defense improved play in the second half and their offense finally clicked. The Saints took the lead in the third quarter and were able to hold on for the win. The Saints long pole defense and excellent goalie play made the difference in the second half. Chase Rubel had five goals in the winning effort for All Saints Academy. All Saints will host Tampa Catholic Friday (0-1).
