Naples’s Barron Collier bounced back after losing to St. Thomas Aquinas to easily handle an overmatched Lely Trojans. Barron went up 10-0 early and slowed it down on the 2nd year program.  The coring for BC was done by Daniel Mora 6 goals, 1 assist, Matt Ihm3 goals, 2 assists), Alec Lange 1 goals, 5 assists, Joey Galuppi 2 goals, Skye Sickles 2 goals, 1 assists, JD Mankiewicz 2 goals, and Zac Richards 2 goals, 2 assists. Parker Gerard also played a solid game for the Cougars. Although it was a tough evening for Lely the did get some very good play out of  Jose Flores, Mike Belcher, Joe Molina and Thomas Rego, who scored the lone goal for the Trojans. Barron Collier coach Matt Hunter said, “Lely’s boys came to play. They worked hard from start to finish and never quit.” Barron Collier is in control of District 12 with a 5-0 district record and 7-1 overall.  BC travels to Pine Crest (4-1) on Saturday.  Lely will try to get things on track Thursday when they travel to Immokalee (1-6) for another District 12 match up.
