The Barron Collier Cougars moved to 2-0 with an impressive win over a game CSN squad.  All American Sr. Daniel Mora  led the Cougars with 6 goals, 3 assists and Sophomores Matt Ihm (4 goals, 2 assists) and Alec Lange (3 goals, 1 assist) had big scoring nights for BC. The tough defense only allowed 7 shots on goal and senior Goalie Alexis Strong’s clears opened up the field for the speedy Cougars. Cory Moore was 8 for 9 on faceoffs and Austin Adams collected 11 groundballs. Barron Collier’s Matt Hunter — “We already had one game under our belt. This was CSN’s first game. Score didn’t matter. They fought hard and it was a fun game.” Barron Collier hosts Miami Country Day on Sat at 2pm as part of the Autism Speaks – Lacrosse Listens Program. The Community School of Naples team will travel up to Winter Park this Friday to take on the Trinity Prep Saints.
