Cardinal Mooney kept their perfect record alive (5-0) with another District 8 victory on Tuesday night.  Behind scoring leaders Tim McGrail and Mike Kahl with 3 goals apiece they defeated Berkley Prep 14-9.  Drew Morgan and Mike Kahl both had 3 assists and 9 different players scored goals for Mooney.   “I’m particularly proud of our unselfish play on offense. We agreed at the beginning of the year we were going to need to play like this to win games and they’ve really stepped up to the task,”  commented coach Wight after the game.  Defensively LSM Chase Osterman was the ground ball, and take away leader.  Strong defensive play from Captain, Peter Lange, Jack Liebold, Ben Walsh, Louie Carey and goalie Andrew Sileo kept the game well in hand for the Cougars.  CMHS travels to Tampa Catholic  (2-1) for another district match up Friday night.  Berkley Prep (0-5) travels to All Saints Academy (1-3) on Friday.
