Several coaching changes have taken place recently throughout the state and there are many other assistant coaching vacancies for folks who may be interested in coaching this spring. If you have any information about coaching changes or vacancies please let us know at Brian@FloridaLacrosseNews.com! Update 1/28 – South Plantation High School is now accepting applications for a Boys Varsity Coach. We are looking for an experienced person who is interested in an assistant or head coaching position. South Plantation is an 8A school with over 2,300 students to pull from. We have been very involved in lacrosse for over 7 years and have earned a reputation as a competitive varsity program. We are in a unique situation where South Plantation High School’s athletic department fully supports lacrosse. Our lacrosse teams have full access to all facilities at SPHS. That includes locker rooms, weight rooms, practice fields (on site), classroom space, AV support, and you get to play in our own stadium. Our administration is very aware of what lacrosse means to the school and its students, so the sport doesn’t get treated like a passing-fancy. If you want to coach a bunch of eager athletes that crave lacrosse please send your resume to: michael.r.collins@browardschools.com Update 1/25 – Trinity Prep is has announced the appointment of Michael von Kamecke as Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach.
