Seniors Nicky Rodrigo, Nick Vidal and Robert Burnett led the Explorers to their 11th consecutive win by soundly defeating opponent Coral Reef. Playing their final home game of the season the seniors continued their winning ways as they are one game away from heading into the Districts. Nicky Rodrigo once again led the team with an explosive attack recording six goals and four assists for ten points as the Explorer opened a commanding lead behind a strong defensive showing and the good sound power of their offense. Steven Hernandez added three goals and four assists with Grant Norlund aiding the effort with four goals and an assist. The scoring was rounded out by a range of players with Gabe Perez adding a goal and an assist, and goals by Michael Bulnes, Alex Ferran, Tito Benach, Mike Ferreiro and Jim Perry. Coral Reef’s scoring included goals by Jesse Sardina and Daniel Varela.
