Davis Diamond Does It Again – His Second Mastro Subaru Play of the Week in 2016

Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
It takes two things to make the Mastro Subaru Play of the Week.  First, you’ve got to make the play! And then, you’ve got to send us the clip.  Or, have a teammate or twin brother send us the clip. We had a couple of great plays sent this week.  But if all else is equal, the BTB is usually the tie breaker. Before we get to the Mastro Subaru Play of the Week, let’s take a look at this great play by Joey Guglielmo.  Early in the game Kevin Crowley finds Joey Guglielmo on the wing. Joey knows his mom who made the long journey to Vero was in attendance, so he decides now is a good time to make something happen. Face dodge, lose balance, dive and snipe a corner. Just the way it was drawn up. This was one of Joey’s four goals in STA’s 15-3 victory over Vero.  And he did it for his mom which makes it even better! Here’s a bonus clip.  Who doesn’t love it when the big guys score? Here is Plant’s super talented D-pole and Senior Captain, Bennett Taylor (Army West Point,) scoring a powerful for the 12th goal in a 15-9 win Newsome. Bennett took a nice feed from senior Henry Brannan for the score.  Nice job, Bennett. And now for the Mastro Subaru Play of the Week.  This is Davis Diamond doing what he does against Kettle Moraine of Wisconsin.  Something tells me Davis is going to fit in just fine with Albany Head Coach Scott Marr next year. Go out and make a great play this week and then send us the video clip.  Just click on http://fln.mattplu.com/mastro-subaru-play-of-the-week/, it’s at the top right of our web page, and send it to us! If it’s good, we’ll put it up.  If it’s great, it could be the Mastro Subaru Play of the Week!
