Several District finals have been played and there is a bunch on tap tonight.  Two of our Tom Marachek’ s All Pro Lacrosse top ten teams were eliminated last night and another will go down tonight as St. Andrew’s knocked out Boca Raton and Ponte Vedra ousted Creekside.  Bishop Moore and Lake Highland Prep play tonight. Here is the whole run down…. District 1 – Maclay rolled past Leon 16-5 to win the District 1 title.  They will now face Episcopal in the first round of the State Tournament.  The two teams did not play each other during the regular season. District 2 – Episcopal easily won their district tournament and will now face Maclay. District 3 – Providence won the District 3 Title in a close 11-10 victory over Fletcher.  They will face Bolles in the next round. District 4 – Bolles beat Mandarin 18-2 for the title. District 5 – Ponte Vedra beat Creekside 12-8 in a game that was closer than some expected.  The score was 7-7 at the start of the fourth quarter.  Ponte Vedra will await the winner of the Menendez – Flagler Palm Coast game tonight. District 6 – Update – Flagler Wins 15-5.  They will play PV at Ponte Vedra on Tuesday at 7:00.  Menendez plays Flagler tonight.  The winner will face PV in the next round. District 7 – Update – Oak Hall Wins Buchholz and Oak Hall will face off tonight.  The winner gets a bye in the first round of the State Tournament. District 8 – Lake Mary defeated Seminole 10-3 and will face Lake Brantley who defeated Wekiva 12-3 to win the District 9 Title. District 9 – Lake Brantley could have walked through this district blind folded.  They will face Lake Mary in the next round. District 10-Update – West Orange Wins Ocoee will play at West Orange tonight for the chance to face off against the winner of the Bishop Moore/Lake Highland Prep game.

District 11 –Update – Lake Highland Prep Wins – Bishop Moore eliminated. 18-5 This district final will produce the regional favorite to make it to Championship Weekend.  Lake Highland Prep heads to Bishop Moore tonight.  Last night Lake Highland cruised past The First Academy and Bishop Moore played an amazing game against Boone that went to OT.  Bishop Moore survived some missed opportunities early in the OT to win it.  It was a fantastic game but will be tough to get up for another big game 22 hours later. District 12 – Update – Winter Park Wins District 12 Oviedo and Winter Park will square off tonight at Oviedo.  The winner of this game will prepare for the winner of the Timber Creek and Hagerty game. District 13 –Update – Timber Creek won on Sunday 12-7 They will face Winter Park next. Update – Game Delayed Until Sunday at 4:00 Neither Timber Creek or Hagerty were tested in the first round of this District tournament.  Tonight’s game at University HS should be a good one.   The winner will prepare for the winner of the Winter Park/Oviedo game. District 14 –Update – Dr. Phillips wins 12-11 in a close game. Olympia and Dr. Phillips will face each other tonight for a game that will propel one of these teams into the second round of the State Tournament, this district has a bye this year. District 15 – Tampa Jesuit is waiting for the winner of the Bishop Verot vs. Estero match up tonight. District 16 –Update – Estero Wins in an upset 17-16 Bishop Verot and Estero play tonight for the title. District 17 –Update – Gulf Coast wins in a blow out Gulf Coast will play at Palmetto Ridge tonight for the District 17 Championship.  The winner will play the winner of Barron Collier vs. Naples. District 18 – Update – Barron Collier Wins  Barron Collier and Naples play tonight at BC. District 19 – Melbourne Central Catholic beat Viera last night to win the District 19 title and will play Vero Beach in the next round. District 20 – Vero Beach won their district play- off games 16-1 and 20-3.  Will their game with MCC be any closer? District 21 – Jupiter defeated Jupiter Christian to win the championship.  Jupiter will face the winner of the Benjamin and Palm Beach Gardens game in the next round in a meeting between two of our top ten teams. District 22 –Update – Benjamin Wins 13-3 Benjamin and Palm Beach Gardens will face off tonight for the chance to play Jupiter in the next round. District 23 – Update – Wellington Wins – Game Delayed until Sunday Palm Beach Central and Wellington are set to play for the title tonight.  Palm Beach Central won both regular season meetings between these two teams but the last one went to overtime.  This should be an exciting game. District 24 – Saint Andrew’s ended Boca’s great season.  Boca Raton spent most of the season on the Tom Marachek’ s All Pro Lacrosse Top Ten coach’s poll.  Saint Andrew’s will match up against the winner of District 23 in the next round. District 25 – Stoneman Douglass is preparing for a match up with Pine Crest in the next round. District 26 – Pine Crest rolled over Cardinal Gibbons 18-3 to win District 26.  The will play Douglass in the next round. District 27 – St. Thomas Aquinas is set to play University Saturday night at 7pm District 28 – Update – Game is delayed. Archbishop McCarthy will play Cypress Bay tonight.  The winner will move on to play St. Thomas Aquinas in the next round. District 29 –Update – Columbus Wins Gulliver Prep vs. Columbus.  This should be good.  Columbus is very good and beat Gulliver in both regular season match ups.  But Ransom Everglades had beaten them in the regular season too. District 30 – Miami Palmetto awaits the winner of District 29.
