This is the first time Winter Springs and Flagler Palm Coast have not been in the same district in over 7 years.  This has in the past been a tough district game and the Flagler Palm Coast seniors wanted to end their career with a solid win against their former district rivals.  It turned out to be a fantastic game with each team going goal for goal until halftime. At the half Winter Springs was up 8 to 7. Flagler goalie Conor Bertha deserves credit for the win making 11 of his 17 saves in the second half. Five saves were at point blank range.  Ryan King had 12 clean face off wins giving Flagler possession 50% of the time.  Wes Adams had a huge night tacking 3goals and 7 assists. There were some bumpy plays that put both teams in the penalty box, but Flagler’s man down defense was 60% in shutting down the Bears advantage.
