Florida got off to a slow start at the Brine National Lacrosse Classic letting a fast Illinois team jump out to an early three goal lead.  Robert Jacobs finally got things going for Florida off of a feed by Ryan Brady.  Shortly after that Dylan Davis hit Timmy Gehlbach in transition for the second Florida goal bringing the game within two.  Zeke Wilson scored the third and Jon Wiese dished one off to Alec Lange who scored a fourth for the Florida team.  Still down by one goal with about two minutes left to play Steele Stockstill sent a nice pass to Chase Elliott who ripped the tying goal just under the crossbar.

The game looked like it might be headed for overtime but with only a minute left in the game Illinois was able to score the game winner on a transition play.  The Florida Boys will be back at it early in the morning with a 9:00 am game against the Central Pennsylvania team followed by games against Rochester and Missouri.
