Florida Lacrosse Cup partners with the Florida Launch of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) for a great weekend of lacrosse, June 18-19, 2016, Father’s Day Weekend. The Florida Lacrosse Cup will offer two levels of competition, Gold and Silver, in the Boys U9, U11, U13, U15, High School and Girls High School Divisions with a focus on drawing teams from across Florida and the southeast United States. Florida Lacrosse Cup will be played at the Seacrest Sports Complex in Delray Beach and South Country Regional Park in Boca Raton.  The tournament, in partnership with the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Florida Launch, will provide all registered players and coaches with a ticket for the Launch home game at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Stadium that Saturday night, June 18 against the Charlotte Hounds. Kevin Finneran, one of Florida’s lacrosse leaders and the Florida Lacrosse Cup tournament director is excited about the partnership with the Florida Launch. “This will be a great weekend of lacrosse for players, coaches, and families,” says Finneran. “Being able to combine tournament play with attending a Major League Lacrosse game makes for a fun filled weekend.  It is important that as the game of lacrosse grows that we also support the MLL, in particular locally, our Florida Launch. Players will get top competition all weekend as well as experience professional lacrosse first hand during the Florida Lacrosse Cup.” The Florida Lacrosse Cup will ensure for a positive experience for players and coaches from proper management and placement of teams in divisions and flights, Gatorade and water hydration on all fields,  quality game officials, athletic trainers on site, and special events and opportunities with the Florida Launch throughout the weekend.  “The Florida Launch is very excited to welcome the participants of the Florida Lacrosse Cup to FAU stadium to watch us take on the Charlotte Hounds,” says Launch vice president of sales and marketing Michael Zeff. “June 18th is going to be a great evening of watching the best lacrosse players in the world right here in Boca Raton.” The tournament registration fee is $1,150.00 and the early registration deadline is May 1, 2016.
