On the down side, there were 24 penalties among the two teams. Coach Mark Ayad was ecstatic about the win: “I started the program 7 years ago and we have been trying to get our first win against an elite team. The monkey is finally off our back and running around Winter Park looking for someone else to hop on to. Couldn’t be more proud of the boys for responding after such a tough loss on Friday night to Timber Creek. Road only gets tougher as we go from here.” Leading scorers for Hagerty: Andrew Bonnie – 3 goals, 4 assists; Austin Lenick – 2 goals, 2 assists; Austin Floeter – 2 goals; Branson Mikell – 2 goals; Kevin Collin – 1 goal, 1 assist; Chris Prendergast – 1 goal.
