Jensen Beach earned their place in the District 19 Championship game by ousting a stubborn Martin County team.  District 19 had two semi-final games decided by a total of three goals. Jensen Beach tied it up with under three minutes left in the game and scored the go ahead goal with :54 left on the clock.  They put the game on ice  a few seconds later to win 9-7. Martin County was led by Troy Fischer and Anthony Senior who each scored twice.  Eric Simon had 16 saves for Martin County.  Beau Ladwig scored 3 goals and 1 assist for Jensen Beach and Jared Welsh scored 2 goals and 1 assist.  Wyatt Weissman had a good night going 15 of 20 at the face off X. Jensen Beach plays Vero Beach for the District 19 Championship.  Vero was taken to Over time by St. Ed’s before Zach Funk netted the game winner. Martin County finished the season and even 8-8 with big wins over Jensen Beach (regular season,) Vero Beach, and Wellington.  St. Ed’s had a huge year and with a young team should stay on your radar.  They finished 10-4 and also had solid wins over Jensen Beach as well as Martin County in the regular season.
