Jupiter continues its undefeated season with a 17-1 victory Tuesday night at Martin County, advancing to 3-0 in district play. Jupiter’s next game is Thursday, March 22, at Southfork, also a district game. On defense, Goalie Stone Wharton (St. Joseph’s) had 13 saves, 5 ground balls and 3 takeaways. Connor Alexander had 5 ground balls and 3 takeaways, while Shane Bogue had 4 ground balls and 2 takeaways. As a team, Jupiter had 28 ground balls and 11 takeaways. Defensemen Jared Hebert added a goal and Braylen Sampson added an assist. On offense, Jesse Foertmeyer led with 3 goals and 4 assists, Daniel Soviero had 3 goals and 1 assist, Tyler Lombardo had 2 goals and 1 assist and AJ Bonardi had 2 goals.
