Lake Highland Defeats The First Academy 17-6

Mar. 13th – Lake Highland (8-0; 2-0 District 11) remained unbeaten and earned their second District 11 win tonight by defeating the host Royals of The First Academy.  The Highlanders opened a 10-0 lead at the four minute mark of the second quarter.  LHP was led by Attackmen Austin Tamayo and Clay Phillips who each had four goals and two assists.  First Academy was led by Colin Kruger, Zach Oliver and Kevin Harrigan who each had two goals.  Lake Highland next prepares to face Boys Latin, one of the perennial top teams in the country, on Saturday, March 17th in Boca Raton.
