Feb. 25^th – Lake Highland (2-0; 0-0 District 11) rushed to a 6-0 lead in the first 6:23 of the game and never looked back as they easily defeated the Bolles Bulldogs by a final score of 14-1 in front of a large crowd of supporters at CNL Stadium.  The offense was again dominant for the Highlanders as eight different players tallied goals.  Senior Austin Tamayo led the way with 7 total points on the evening (2 goals, 5 assists).  Junior Devon Lewis had 3 goals (including two shorthanded unassisted tallies) as did Junior Brennen Fugate.  The Lake Highland defense, led by Senior Cody Prizer and Juniors Casey Irish and Jackson Bowen, was also outstanding causing numerous Bolles turnovers and failed clearing attempts.  Taking advantage of the shut down defense in front of them, goalies Sam Webster and Alex Acuna combined to stop all but one Bolles shot on goal.  LHP next hosts rival Ponte Vedra on Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM.
