Lake Nona earns first ever victory!

The Lake Nona Lions earned their first boy’s varsity lacrosse victory Friday night, defeating the East River Falcons 13-4. The Lions came out and got on the scoreboard right away, thanks to Attackman Nick Soracco’s 3rd goal of the season.  The Lions continued to build on their lead, going in to halftime up 6-0.  In the second half Lake Nona continued their dominating performance going up 10-0 after 3 periods.  Lake Nona, which played as a JV team last year (6-2 record), finished the game strong overcoming a late surge by the Falcons and won the game 13-4. Cody Langston led the Lions in scoring with 2 goals and 3 assists while Jacob Conley set the pace for the Falcons with 2 goals.
