via press release   The Florida Launch today announced their schedule for the 2017 season. The Launch are slated to play seven home games with three of those games as a part of the 2017 Florida Tour. As Florida’s only professional lacrosse team, the Launch will look to further grow the game in the state by bringing MLL action to three soon-to-be-announced cities. The final four home games of the season will be held at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, Fl. The 2017 Florida Tour will begin with a season opener against the Boston Cannons (April 22). The Rochester Rattlers will travel to Florida in the second week of action (April 29) and the Launch will then enter a bye week before facing defending MLL champions the Denver Outlaws (May 13) in Florida. “As Florida’s professional lacrosse team, it has always been our mission to grow and share the game not just in South Florida, but throughout the state,” said Florida Launch President Brian Clinton. “That’s exactly what we are doing here with the Florida Tour and we couldn’t be more excited to play in front of all of our Florida fans.” Game locations and special ticket pricing for all three games will be announced soon. The Launch will return to FAU Stadium with a much anticipated game against the New York Lizards (June 10). The final three home games will feature visits from the Atlanta Blaze (June 17), Chesapeake Bayhawks (July 15), and the Charlotte Hounds (July 22). Season ticket packages for all four games at FAU Stadium start at just $99. Full home ticket packages with both the FAU Stadium and Florida Tour games will be announced soon.
