Cardinal Mooney rode a 5 goal and 2 assist effort from Mike Kahl to beat district 15 opponent Tampa Catholic 13-5. Cardinal Mooney is now 5-1 on the season and 3-0 in the district.  This sets up a big game for Mooney, 2011 district champs, against FHSAA newcomber Tampa Jesuit on March 23 for the top seed in the district tournament.  They need to handle Tampa Prep (0-7) on Thursday first, however. Tampa Catholic is now 3-3 and is off until March 21 when they will travel to Tampa Jesuit.
