Drew Westervelt and 1426 lacrosse is holding a clinic for boys and girls ages 8 and up.  The clinic will be held at Barber Park in Orlando on Saturday, September 15th – 9:00 – 12:30 and Sunday, September 16th – 9:00 – 12:30. We had the opportunity to meet Drew when he offered a free shooting clinic for Jokers Lacrosse club in Orlando.  We were very impressed with Drew and his ability to give real instruction and not just a glorified autograph session. There are one and two day sessions available for registration.  There will also be private and group lessons available on both days after the clinic – pre-registration recommended.  Interested players can register for all sessions at www.1426lacrosse.com.
  • Learn fundamentals of the game from some of the best current professional players in the world including MLL All-Star and Team USA Attackman Drew Westervelt of the Washington Bayhawks, Defensemen Kyle Hartzell of the Ohio Machine and Attackman Brendan Mundorf of the Denver Outlaws.
  • 1426 Lacrosse also specializes in teaching the fundamentals of girls lacrosse, and All-American and Team USA member Becky Clipp and Jenny Collins will be the leading instructors for the girls
  • Sessions will focus on drills and training exercises to develop fundamentals, game sense, and lacrosse IQ
  • A focus on basic fundamentals for younger players just learning the game as well as advanced tips and drills for the more accomplished HS players that want to improve all aspects of their game
  • 1426 Lacrosse training is not a glorified scrimmage, but is about instruction, growth and learning strategies and the techniques that our professional players have developed over their careers
  • 1426 Lacrosse is about teaching those skills that will raise your game and give you that slight edge over your opponents and competitors when it matters most
